ISSP empowers SMEs with Cybersecurity Hub

ISSP has launched a Cybersecurity Hub for SMEs, an information center developed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises that are increasingly becoming targets of cyberattacks.

Why is it important? SMEs can no longer ignore cybersecurity challenges. Small and medium enterprises are becoming the number one target for adversaries, given the fact that their larger peers are usually better protected.

Supply chain cyber threats are becoming a major strategy for hackers around the globe. Nearly 43% of cyberattacks target SMEs. Moreover, 60% of SMEs go out of business within six months after a cyberattack.

Additionally, the regulatory environment has become more demanding in recent due to the pace of new regulations are being introduced. These include the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Network and Information Systems Directive (NIS2), and the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). The aim of these regulations is to ensure a high level of cybersecurity and data protection across the European Union and the United States. As more SMEs enter foreign markets, it's crucial for them to follow these new laws. Failing to comply with these regulations could limit their ability to do business with European and US partners.

The icing on top of the above is that small firms often face budget limitations and lack the expertise to implement complex cybersecurity measures.

A Cybersecurity Hub aims to assist SMEs by providing the necessary tools and knowledge for free to protect their businesses from cyber threats and ensure long-term success.

The Cybersecurity Hub for SMEs offers:

  • Free cybersecurity manual for SME leaders to enable a qualitative development of their cybersecurity capabilities and simplify cybersecurity accountability in front of SME clients and partners.

  • Practical cybersecurity video series by Artem Mykhailov, Enterprise Solutions Director at ISSP and Business Development Leader to shorten the learning curve and become more mature in terms of cybersecurity.

  • Information about key cybersecurity solutions that are particularly useful for SMEs in the early stages of establishing their cybersecurity stance.

  • Recent cybersecurity news specifically curated for SMEs.

  • More perks are coming soon.

We understand that SME leaders don't have the luxury of time to study all aspects of cybersecurity. Therefore, we have designed the handbook and videos to save valuable time and maximize the value of this knowledge.

The manual and video series were developed by ISSP experts with the support of the EBRD Digital Hub.

Visit our Hub, download the manual, watch the videos, and embark on your cybersecurity journey today!
